About the event
The Teach Portsmouth Jobs and Opportunities Fair 2024 brings together adult education providers, schools, colleges, and academies to Portsmouth Guildhall on Monday 26 February from 9am – 2pm to promote teaching, learning and wider-support vacancies as well as share information and advice on employment and training.
The Opportunities Room will provide a space for presentations, offering information on how to become a teaching assistant, apprenticeships and how to complete a job application as well as Q&A sessions with local experts. A schedule for presentations will be published separately.
Schools and colleges will have the option to participate in taster sessions. Taster sessions invite event attendees into your school or college for a supervised tour, meet support staff and watch a presentation on vacancies and opportunities. Those who join the scheme see an increase in application rates and have recruited staff and volunteers.
Exhibitor information
Exhibitors each receive one table to promote their services and can decorate it accordingly. One roll up banner per table is allowed. Each room will have up to 12 exhibitors in.
A special welcome talk and networking breakfast for delegates begins at 9.20am before the event opens to the general public at 10am.

What’s next?
If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor, please download the booking form below. Afterwards, please email it to [email protected] by Wednesday 31 January 2024. We will also need your school/academy logo to add to the exhibitor section of the website and for use in marketing.
Once confirmed, we will need your help to promote the event to parents/carers. We will provide you with a toolkit of promotional assets to use in newsletters, your website and on social media.
